It works across a number of devices - on Android, iPhone or in a web browser. All the features are free of charge, you can get rid of ads for a one-time fee.
Sharing does not require any registration or login, it is done by the sharing code. Just enter the sharing code in your mobile and and that's it!

The sharing feature is great even if you don't want to share the list with anyone. It allows you to enter your shopping list on your computer and it will be automaticaly synchronized to your mobile phone.
